Mayor’s Cookie Jar Competition
Exhibitors in the North Central Arkansas District Fair are encouraged to enter the Mayor’s Cookie Jar Competition. There will be two age divisions for junior exhibitors---Youth (age 12 and under) and Junior (age 13-19), and the Open Division for adults (over age 19).
Rules
- All cookie jars entered in the competition become the property of the North Central Arkansas District Fair.
- Jars must be the gallon, wide-mouth jars and must be filled with cookies. Cookies may be homemade or purchased.
- The jar must be decorated. Any theme can be used for decorations.
- Entries must be pre-registered and checked in by noon on Tuesday, September 28th.
- The cookie jars will be auctioned on Saturday, October 2nd at the Livestock Awards Program in the Show Arena at 12:00 noon.
- All monies received from the auction of the cookie jars go for NCADF Scholarships to be awarded the following year. Two $500 scholarships were awarded in May of 2010.
