2010 North Central Arkansas District Fair
September 27 – October 2, 2010
Rules for Creative Arts Department including Apiary, Floral Arrangements and Flowers, Field Crops & Horticulture, & Educational Exhibits
- All Creative Arts entries must be pre-registered. Entry Forms are due no later than Monday, September 20th. Entries may be made online or by paper entry. For Online Entries use this link: http://ncadf.fairmanager.com. It is recommended that exhibitors use the online registration.
- All Creative Arts exhibits (except Cut Flowers and Food Preparation) should be checked in on Monday, September 27, from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. Cut Flowers and Food Preparation exhibits check in from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28th.
2. Exhibitors may have only one entry in each lot.
3. Exhibits must be made by the person in whose name it is entered.
4. Entries must have been completed in the last year (Since September 28, 2009).
5. All framed exhibits must be wired and ready for hanging (no sawtooth hangers allowed) Wall hangings must have sleeve and dowel and be ready to hang. These rules will be strictly enforced.
6. Each exhibit will be judged on its own merit. Exhibits are divided into two divisions: junior (youth age 18 and under) and open (adults). Judges decision is final.
7. North Central Arkansas District Fair creative arts exhibits check out on Sunday, October 3rd , from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. No one will be allowed in the building before that time except Department Chairmen. If the exhibit is removed before the official check-out time, all premium money will be forfeited. The North Central Arkansas District Fair officials will not be responsible for exhibits left after the official check-out time. NO NIGHT WATCHMAN WILL BE ON DUTY AFTER OFFICIAL CHECK-OUT.
