2007 Miss North Central Arkansas
District Fair Beauty Pageant Saturday, Sept. 29th, 2007 1:00 p.m. Ozarka College, John E. Miller Bldg. - Melbourne Director: Theta Omega Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi (Fulton County) Telephone: 870-895-2447 or 870-243-3641 Entry Fee: $15.00 per Contestant Entry Deadline: September 21, 2007 Contestants should arrive no later than 12 noon. Auditorium will open at 11:30 a.m. Rules 1. The Miss North Central Arkansas District Fair Queen Pageant will consist of Private Interview, Sportswear, and Evening Gown competitions. 2. Contestants must not be less than 16 years of age on the date of the North Central Arkansas District Fair Queen Pageant nor more than 21 years of age. 3. A contestant must have been born a female, and a legal resident one of the six counties in the NC Arkansas District Fair area (Cleburne, Fulton, Izard, Sharp, Stone, or Van Buren). Contestants must legally reside in the county they represent for not less than six months immediately preceding the county contest or must be a full-time student who has attended school (academic, not dance, etc.) in that county for one full semester immediately preceding that county’s contest. 4. She cannot be, or at any time have been, married, pregnant, or have had a child. A contestant must have never been convicted of any crime nor have any criminal charges pending. 5. Past Arkansas State Fair Queens are not eligible to compete in the district pageant. Last year’s winner cannot enter but will crown the new queen. 6. Contestants are required to be on time for all events. Absent or tardy contestants may be disqualified at the discretion of the Contest Directors. If unable to attend or be on time due to an emergency, contact the Contest Directors at 870.243.3641 immediately. 7. Entry Forms must be neat, legible, completely filled out, and signed by each of the following: (1) contestant, (2) contestant’s parent or guardian if under 18, (3). Entry Forms should be sent to the Contest Director by the entry deadline, September 21, 2007. (Please allow for transit time). Since each judge will receive a copy of all Entry Forms, it is to the advantage of each contestant that she type or print in ink and pay close attention to such things as spelling, grammar, vocabulary, etc. 8. Each contestant can be accompanied by one female chaperone who can go backstage with the contestant to assist in dressing. Only one person will be allowed backstage. 9. The directors of the North Central Arkansas Fair Queen Pageant reserves the final and absolute right to interpret these rules and arbitrarily settle and determine all matters, questions and differences in regard thereto, or otherwise arising out of or connected with, or incident to the contest, and the right to amend or add to these rules as their judgment may determine. Any contestant who fails to abide by any of the above rules will be disqualified from the district contest by the contest directors. 10. The Miss North Central Arkansas District Fair Queen will represent the district fair at the Arkansas State Fair in October. |
