The Izard County Fair Association allows groups and individuals to rent buildings on the Izard County Fairgrounds on a first come-first serve basis. The Izard County Fair Association allows groups and individuals to rent the
Rebecca Moser Hickerson arena on the Izard County Fairgrounds on a first come-first serve basis.

No fee charged for recreational riding during daylight hours.

Any other use of arena
A prepaid deposit/rent payable in advance is required with the Izard County Extension Office.
Deposit will be refunded based on condition of arena.



The following rent fees/deposit will be charged on any organized event.
  • Use of lights for recreational riding: $40.00
  • Barrel Racings (with lights): Rent $100.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Barrel Racings (No lights): Rent $75.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Cutting horse contests or workings (with lights): Rent--$100.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Cutting horse contests or working (No lights): Rent $75.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Horse Show (with lights): Rent $100.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Roping (with lights): Rent $100.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Roping (No lights): Rent $75.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Practice Roping (No lights): Deposit $75.00
  • Team Penning (with lights): Rent $100.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Team Penning (No lights): Rent $100.00/Deposit $75.00
  • Rodeos or Bull Riding (with lights): Rent $150.00/Deposit $100.00
  • Trailer transfer of cattle: Rent $50.00/Deposit $100.00

BRAND, DE-HORN, CASTRATE, OR DOCTOR ANY ANIMALS.
